Service Level Agreement for Responding to Inquiries Regarding Oil Pipeline and Operational Facility Protection Zones
1. Introduction
This Service Level Agreement (SLA) has been prepared to define the service provided by the Iran Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company (IOPTC) entitled “Responding to Inquiries Regarding Oil Pipeline and Operational Facility Protection Zones” (Service ID: 13032885000), which is offered to government organizations, companies, and public institutions in order to facilitate the issuance of business permits.
Natural persons (individual applicants) are not covered by this agreement and must pursue their requests through the relevant business licensing authorities.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this SLA is to establish an agreed-upon quality standard for the delivery of the service provided by the Iran Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company, namely responding to inquiries concerning oil pipeline and operational facility protection zones, for government organizations, companies, and public institutions responsible for issuing business permits.
This document defines the mutually agreed service levels, monitoring methods, and organizational responsibilities related to the provision of this service.
3. Authority and Responsibility
The laws and regulations that authorize the Iran Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company to provide the service described in this SLA—namely responding to inquiries regarding oil pipeline and operational facility protection zones—are as follows:

Service Commitment
The Iran Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company is responsible for responding to inquiries regarding oil pipeline and operational facility protection zones within 20 days of receiving the official request from the applicant organization, together with all required supporting documents submitted through the designated system.
If the submitted documents are incomplete, or if the requested location falls within the protection zone of oil pipelines or operational facilities, the applicant will be notified accordingly to either:
Complete the required documentation; or
Arrange for a field inspection of the site.
4. Mutual Obligations of the Service Recipient and the Executive Agency
The service recipient is required to upload all necessary documents in the prescribed format through the designated system. If the submitted documentation is found to be incomplete, the applicant must provide the missing documents without delay.
It is understood that the 20-day response period will be calculated starting from the date on which the required documents have been fully completed and submitted.
