The Northeast District

The Northeast District was established about 60 years ago when Ray-Mashhad 8" pipeline was laid. In the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, this District was developed as new pipelines, pump stations and installations were established. The center of this District is located in the southeast of Shahrood, west of Naft Street, across from Shahid Sarbarzegar Pump Station.

This District supports three provinces (Khorasan, Golestan, and Semnan) and some part of Mazandaran. It starts from hot deserts of Garmsar and extends to the heights of Torbat Heidarie, Albors peaks, plains and green jungles of the North. The District moves massive volume of products (Kerosene, gas oil, gasoline, jet fuel) by 22", 20", 10" and 8" pipelines, 4 pump stations and 4 Installations.

1. Semnan Pump Station and Installations

Semnan Pump Station and Installations are located in the southeast of Semnan city. It receives the oil products and supplies the fuel for Semnan, Sorkhe, Mahdi shahr, and Shahmirzad cities. The oil products are pumped   to Damghan and Shahrood installations from this District using three sets of TB4000 Reston Turbines through 22" pipeline crossing   Ahowan heights.

2. Damghan Installations

Damghan Installations are located in the west part of Damghan County. An 8" branched off pipeline with 3 km length enters the Installations. These Installations were established in 1994 and a year later started operation. Three major refined products, gasoline, gas oil and kerosene, are supplied from here for Damghan city and the suburbs (5 Regions and 360 villages).

  Damghan was formerly called Sad Darvaze.

3. Shahid Sarbarzegar (Shahrood) pump station and Installations

This Station is located in southeast of Shahrood County. It is responsible for massive operation.

There are two ways for transporting the oil products to Shahrood:

1.   22" pipeline
2.   Tanks (using Booster Pump)

Equipment: water tanks, special pump, safety building, Diesel generator, generator

4. Sabzevar Pump Station and Installations

Sabzevar Pump Station is located in the south   of Sabzevar County. 20" Shahrood-Mashhad pipeline moves oil products to this station, which supplies fuel for Sabzevar District Distribution facilities. Three TB4000 Reston Turbines pump oil products to Neishabour.

The experts in Technical Departments have made it possible for the turbines to run on gas instead of liquid fuel. Now, the turbines can run on both now.

Facilities: Telecommunication station, safety building, storage tanks, fire fighter station, 3 sets of diesel generators, emergency generator, living  quarters, guest house in the south part of Sabzevar-Mashhad Road.  

5. Neishabour Installations

Neishabour: the city of scientists, poets, the city, which conjures up the images of relaxing turquoise and the entrance of Mashhad Al Reza.

The 20" pipeline, crossing 100 km through hot deserts, farms, and mountains, reaches Neishabour District, and enters   the Installations via an 8" branched off pipeline.

Oil products such as gasoline, gas oil and kerosene are received and stored in these Installations based on central control schedule.

6. Imam Taghi pump station

This station' line, driving from 20" Shahrood-Mashhad pipeline, moves the oil products to Torbat Heidarie Installations where they are stored. Products are pumped by three sets of electro motors.

Equipment:

 As the Station is located far from the centers of the Counties it is inevitable   to have equipments such as fire water rings, fire fighting vehicles, ambulance and   heavy vehicles such as mechanical shovel, loader, trailer, crane available in case of emergency. There are also two Telecommunication Stations

Staff Facilities:

Living quarters, guesthouse, canteen.

7. Torbat Heidarie Installations

8" pipeline crossing deserts, heights, valleys full of  Saffron purple flowers, plains and north part of the Torbat Heidarie city, enters  the Installations located  in northeast of the city.

This station receives millions liters of oil products per day and supplies the fuel for Khorasan Razavi and Southern Khorasan.

There is a generator available in order to secure the nonstop running of the operation.  

8. Holy Mashhad Installation

This Installation is one of the largest Receiving Station/ Terminals in Iran. It is located in southwest of Mashhad Al Reza. Shahrood-Mashhad 20" pipeline, traveling about 500 km, ends in this Station. The Station is responsible for receiving oil products and supplying the fuel for   Mashhad city and some parts of Northern Khorasan. Round the clock efforts of the personnel secure the smooth running of the operation.
