Isfahan District

 

Introduction

Isfahan District is located 10 km north of Isfahan city, near Isfahan Refinery, at an altitude of 1697m above the sea level. This District with 830 employees is responsible for transporting crude oil from Shahid Jaber Al Khamis, located   25 km from Omidieh County (Aghajari). 550.000 b/d is transported via 36", 30" and 32" pipelines of 435 km length. After supplying Isfahan Refinery, the surplus oil is moved from Shahid Beheshti Pump Station to Tehran through 24" pipeline.

 

In addition, the oil products are received from Bandar Abbas Refinery in the Southeast District, and transferred to Tehran Installation through 24", 18" pipeline of 371 km length. The received mazot (fuel oil) from Isfahan Refinery is transferred to Islam Abad Power Station and Abnil Terminal via 45 km 12" pipeline.

 

The total length of both 8" and 36" pipelines in this District amounts to 671 km.

Telecommunication stations

This District has 26 telecommunication stations. Their activities can be classified into four areas: Microwave, telephone centers, V.H.F and Gai-Tronic systems.   Specialist and qualified technical staff backed by other operational units and Telecommunication Management Staff in the District render high quality services, which extend from the heights of Zagros Mountain chain to Maroon Pump Stations.

 

It is interesting to know that Maroon-Isfahan pipeline's route is only second to Alaska Pipelines in America Continent regarding rough terrain.

 

1. Shahid Al Khamis Pump Station (Omidie No. 1)

This station is located 25km away from Omidie in Khozestan County, at an altitude of 73 m above the sea level. It moves the received crude oil from Omidie Units to Shahid Badei Sanaye (Ramhormoz) Pump Station through the 30" pipelines stretching 54 km along a height difference of 303 m. The temperature in this District soars to    more than 50 degrees centigrade above zero in summer.

Telecommunication equipment

1. A central Radio Station not only supplies Maroon Pump Station telecommunication, but also as the last site of Isfahan District provides radio communications from Tehran-Isfahan-Maroon to Aghajari Telecommunication Station. 
2. This site monitors all the stations on Isfahan-Maroon route.
3.  The central Radio Station covers Kooh Shara, Omidie and Aghajari Telecommunication Stations.

2. Shahid Badie Sanaye Pump Station (Ramhormoz No. 2)

This station is located 12km southeast of Ramhormoz County at an altitude of 73 m above the sea level. The 30"pipeline transports the received crude oil from Ale Khamis Pump Station (Omidie No. 1) to Shahid Malek (Baghmehr No. 3) Pump Station by traveling 54 km (elevation difference   of 386 m).

 The Station has the capacity of transporting 550,000 b/d of crude oil

From Maroon River (20^th km) to Allah River (80^th km) Maydavood village

-3 sets of Solzer turbines, 39.000 hp, gas and gas oil fuel, for transporting crude oil

-3 sets of Ruston turbines with the power of 3750 hp, gas and gas oil fuel, for supplying the Electricity of the Station

-1 set of Kenzburg turbo generator with the power of 2.000 hp each,    gas oil fuel.

-1 set of Fire fighting Diesel

1 set of emergency generator diesel

-1   crud oil storage tank with the capacity of 550.000 barrels

-2 sets of daily gas oil storage tanks with the capacity of 70.000 liters

3. Shahid Malek (3 Baghe Melk No. 3) Pump Station

This station is located 5km northeast of Baghe Malek County in Khozestan province, at an altitude of 70 m above the sea level. The 70km 30" pipeline moves the received crude oil from Shahid Sanaye to Shahid Marzban Pump Station.

 The Station has the capacity of transporting 550,000 b/d of crude oil

4. Shahid Marzban Pump Station (Ieze No. 4)

This station is located near   Rakaat village, 38 km northeast of Ieze County in Khozestan province at an altitude of 1684 m above the sea level. The 17 km 30" pipeline transports the received crude oil from Shahid Malek to Yadegare Hazrate Imam Pump Station. The Station has the capacity of transporting 550,000 b/d of crude oil.

5. Hazrate Imam Pump Station (Dehdaz No. 5)

This station is located 10 km southeast of Dehdaz County in Khozestan province at an altitude of 1684 m above the sea level. The 43km 30" pipeline carries the received crude oil from Shahid Marzban to Sahid Jaber Zare Pump Station. The Station has the capacity of transporting 550,000 b/d of crude oil.

6. Shahid Jabbar Zare Pump Station (Gandomkar No.6)

This station is located near   Gadomkar village, 130km south of Shahr kord County in Chaharmahal- o- Bakhteyari province at an altitude of 2053m above the sea level. The 197km 32" pipeline transports the received crude oil from Yadegare Hazrate Imam Pump Station to Isfahan Shahid Beheshti Pump Station. The Station has the capacity of carrying 550,000 b/d of crude oil.

7. Shahid Beheshti Pump Station (Isfahan No.7)

This Pump Station is located 10km from Isfahan, next to the Refinery, at an altitude of 1697m above the sea level. It is the Terminal for 32" Maroon -Isfahan, and 16" Naeen-Isfahan pipelines with the tasks of:

-          Receiving 100,000 b/d of refined oil products from Banddar Abbas Refinery via 16" Naeen-Isfahan pipeline, 161km in Southeast District

-           Supplying the crude oil for  Isfahan Refinery, 370,000 b/d

-            Pumping 120,000 b/d of refined oil products received from Isfahan Refinery to Tehran District through 371km of 18" pipeline

 

Equipment

Shahid Beheshti Pump Station is equipped with- various turbines, storage tanks, and fire fighting equipment.   

 

Telecommunication equipment

- 1 Radio communication station as the last site of Tehran-Isfahan route, and the first site of Isfahan –Maroon route

-Supplying telecommunication for the refinery, oil storage and distribution facilities, pipeline and petrochemical area

8. Shahidan Rahnema Mazot Pump Station (No.8)

This Pump Station is located 10km from Isfahan, next to the Refinery, at an altitude of 1600m above the sea level. The 26km 12" pipeline moves the received Mazot from Shahid Montazeri Distribution Facilities to Islam Abad Installation (to be used in Power Station). Some of the same product is also carried to Abniel Installation to be transported to Bandar Abbas by railways. The Station has the capacity of moving 40,000 b/d of crude oil.

- 20" Naeen-Isfahan Fiber optic Station which supplies   telecommunication for Southeast District and Bandar Abbas as well as age detector leek for 20" pipeline   

-Project: installing fiber optic p.s.8 to p.s.7 in order to connect Naeen- Isfahan fiber to trans-network

  Islam Abad Installation

Islam Abad Installation is located in the west of Isfahan, in Islam Abad Power Station area, at an altitude of 1600m above the sea level.

After providing the Power Station fuel, Islam Abad Installation moves the received mazot from Shahidan Rahnema Pump Station to Abniel Terminal Installation, 17km away.

  َAbniel Installation

  Abniel Installation is located 5km away from southwest of Isfahan, at an altitude of 1583m above the sea level.

The Installation transports the received mazot and gas oil from Shahidan Rahnema Pump Station to Bandar Abbas via railways.
