Fars District
Fars District is one of the subsidiaries of Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunication Company (IOPTC), which started operation in 1973 in two parts, namely oil transport services, and telecommunication services. This District, which is situated in the south of Shiraz, is responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and supporting the operation of pump stations, pipeline routes, and telecommunication stations.
Operational zone
Fars District receives the crude oil from Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company, otherwise referred to as GSOGPC, via three pump stations and one oil transport installation. The 10" pipeline crosses 228 km (223km, new route) of rough terrain to reach Shiraz Oil Refining Company.
Deputy of Telecommunication
This District is responsible for providing telecommunication services to the whole sections of oil industry, including Petrochemical, Shiraz and Lavan Refineries, Oil Products Distribution, clinic, Oil Industry club, Fars province Gas Company, 5th Gas Pipelines District, Booshehr Oil Installation, Pump Stations and Tavanir Company. In addition, Deputy of Telecommunication provides services for IRI News Network, Radio Farhang, Islamic Republic of Iran Radio and Television from Tehran to Shiraz.

1. Gachsaran Pump Station
Gachsaran County is located in the south of Kohkiloyeh- va- Boirahmad province with an area of 4683 square kilometers. This city is bordered by Kohkiloyeh County on the north, by Genaveh County (Booshehr province) on the south, by Mamasani (Fars province) on the east and northeast, and Behbahan County on the west.
The required crude oil for Shiraz Refinery Company is processed in Gachsaran Gas Oil Company- Unit No.2, located in Baloot Oil Field, and then transported via a 12" pipeline to Gachsaran Pump Station, where it is stored in 2 Storage Tanks with the capacity of 11 million liters each. It is then pumped to Noor Abad Pump Station by the main pumps through the 10", 92 km pipeline.

2. Noor Abad Pump Station
Noor Abad Pump Station is located 5 km from south of Noor Abad, between Noor Abad and Sangan. This Station receives the crude oil from Gachsaran Pump Station and moves it to Hassani Pump Station via 10" pipeline.

3. Hassani Pump Station
This station is located in the center of Doshman Ziari region. Hassani Pump Station is 60 km from Noor Abad, and 80 km from Shiraz . This station is limited from east to Shiraz, west to Noor Abad, north to Sepidan and south to Gachsaran County.
This station receives the crude oil from Noor Abad Pump Station and moves it to installation adjacent Shiraz Refinery.
The inlet and outlet pipeline has a diameter of 10".
